Company was originally established in
1969 under the name of Korea Fidelity
and Surety
Company to assist in the economic development
of Korea by helping to build a credit-based
society.
A merger with Hankuk Fidelity and Surety
Company in November 1998 formed the
Seoul Guarantee Insurance Company of
today, and the Company strengthened
its leadership to emerge as Korea¡¯s
exclusive guarantee insurance company.
SGIC is currently enjoying an unsurpassed
reputation for its financial strength.
In 2004, based on the financial results
submitted by its members, the International
Credit
Insurance & Surety Association (ICISA)
