On August 10, 2009, Seoul Guarantee Insurance joined as a member of SWIFT which operates a worldwide financial messaging network which exchange messages between banks and other financial institutions.

SWIFT is a cooperative society under Belgian law and it is owned by its member financial institutions is currently linked over 8,300 financial institutions in 208 countries.
